Magnificent and beautiful main building of world renowned Faisal Mosque
Rohtas Fort locally known as Qila Rohtas, was built in 1541 and survives intact till today to demonstrate the glory of Central Asian Muslim invaders in the Subcontinent.The fort was built in compliance with the orders of Sher Shah (actual name Farid Khan) son of Hassan Khan, an Afghan of the Sur section of the Lodhi tribe. The project was financially looked after by Todar Mal, the finance minister of Sher Shah.
